About Us

  • Niagara Wheatfield Central School District is comprised of four (4) towns – Town of Wheatfield, Town of Niagara, Town of Lewiston, and the Town of Cambria.  Our K-12 enrollment is just under 3,400 students.  The District has four (4) elementary schools – Colonial Village Elementary School, West Street Elementary School, Errick Road Elementary School, and the Tuscarora Indian Elementary School.  The District has one middle school (Edward Town Middle School) and one high school.  In addition to the core academic programs, we are very proud of the variety and quality of our extra-curricular activities.  We are in the final stages of our 2018 Capital Project and are now in the planning stages of our next Capital Project.  The District is guided by our Comprehensive District Educational Planning (CDEP) goals, which then inform our Comprehensive School Educational Planning (CSEP) goals.

School Attendance Boundaries

  • If you are moving into the district, please use the following document to determine which school your child(ren) will attend. The addresses reflect current attendance zones.  Please call the Registrar for verification at (716) 215-3000.

Directions to Administration Office

  • From Buffalo: Take the 190 North over Grand Island.  Take exit 23 for Packard Road towards NY-182/Porter Road.  Continue on Packard Road then turn left on Tuscarora Road.  Take Tuscarora Road to Saunders Settlement Road (Route 31E) and turn right.  Continue on Rt 31E until you see West Street Elementary School on the right; turn right onto West Street and follow signs for the guest entrance along the left side of the building.

    From North Tonawanda: Take Niagara Falls Boulevard heading toward Niagara Falls.  Turn right onto Ward Road (NY-429 N).  Continue on Ward Road until it ends at Saunders Settlement Road (Rt 31) and turn left onto Rt 31W.  Turn left onto West Street and follow signs for the guest entrance along the left side of the building.

    From Niagara Falls: Take Niagara Falls Boulevard heading toward the Tonawandas.  As you pass the Bell Aerospace complex, get into the left lane.  Turn left onto Niagara Road and continue until you reach Ward Road (NY-429), and turn left onto Ward Road.  Continue on Ward Road until it ends at Saunders Settlement Road (Rt 31) and turn left onto Rt 31W.  Turn left onto West Street and follow signs for the guest entrance along the left side of the building.

    From Canada: After crossing the Lewiston-Queenston bridge...Take 190 South towards Niagara Falls.  Take the exit for Witmer Road (Route 31 East).  From the exit, turn left onto Witmer Road (Route 31 East).  At the traffic signal for Military Road, continue on Witmer Road.  Witmer Road becomes Saunders Settlement Road.  Follow Route 31 past Colonial Village Elementary.  Pass Tuscarora Road (at traffic light), pass the Bus Garage and multiple school buildings on your right (at traffic light). Turn right onto West Street and follow signs for the guest entrance along the left side of the building.
